The testing was performed at Port Fourchon, Louisiana, USA, in accordance with CAP 437 – Standards for Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas and applicable U.S. regulations, including HSAC RP 163 – Helideck Safety Guidance.

The assessments confirmed that the helideck met the required safety criteria for surface friction and perimeter protection, ensuring reliable skid resistance and effective fall protection during helicopter operations. This project reinforced compliance with aviation safety standards and supported the continued safe and efficient operation of helicopter activities onboard the vessel.

ORYX Aviation Services LLC successfully conducted a Perimeter Net Drop Test for SUBSEA 7, a USA?based client, to verify the structural integrity and operational reliability of the perimeter safety net installed on the Seven Seas helideck. The assessment was performed on 14?07?26 in Panama City, FL – USA, in accordance with CAP 437 – Standards for Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas.

The drop test confirmed that the perimeter net met all required performance and safety criteria, ensuring proper energy absorption and secure containment capability during helicopter operations. ORYX Aviation Services LLC-SPC was engaged by OTTO CANDIES LLC to perform a comprehensive Helideck Gap Analysis of the HARVEY BLUE SEA, including its helideck and supporting infrastructure.

The assessment focused on evaluating the helideck layout, safety systems, and operational procedures to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with internationally recognized aviation standards and best practices.

The assessment was conducted in accordance with the requirements and guidance outlined in CAP 437 – Standards for Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas and HSAC RP 163 – Helideck Safety and Assessment Guidance. The gap analysis evaluated the helideck layout, safety equipment, operational procedures, and supporting infrastructure to identify areas of non-compliance or potential improvement.
