ORYX Aviation successfully supported operational readiness activities within the facilities of ADNOC in the United Arab Emirates by delivering specialized aviation support services in accordance with applicable safety and operational standards. The project was undertaken to ensure that helideck-related infrastructure and safety systems met the required compliance for safe helicopter operations within ADNOC field locations.

As part of the scope of work, ORYX Aviation conducted a Task Resource Analysis (TRA), where a full-scale assessment and exercise were carried out to evaluate the required emergency response capability during a potential helicopter incident. This analysis examined the operational scenario to determine the appropriate number of Helideck Landing Officers (HLO) and Helideck Assistants (HDA) required to effectively respond to and manage an emergency on the helideck, ensuring adequate manpower and preparedness in line with CAR HVD and ICAO Standards.

In addition, ORYX Aviation supplied a range of helideck-related equipment and safety products necessary to support aviation operations. This included the provision of ICAO Level “C” firefighting foam, ensuring that the helideck firefighting systems were adequately equipped to respond to potential emergencies in compliance with the guidelines of the CAR HVD PART-II. Through this project, ORYX Aviation reinforced its capability to deliver compliant aviation safety solutions and operational support for offshore and onshore energy sector facilities.

ORYX Aviation provided comprehensive support to the client in preparing a helideck for safe operations in the offshore waters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The engagement included design verification and ongoing consultancy services from the initial helideck construction stage through to operational readiness.

Throughout the project, ORYX Aviation offered technical guidance and advisory support to ensure that the helideck design, infrastructure, and operational procedures fully complied with the requirements of MUKAMALA Aviation (ARAMCO) and the standards outlined in CAP 437 – Standards for Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas.

This collaboration enabled the client to achieve full regulatory compliance, enhance helideck safety, and ensure that offshore helicopter operations could be conducted safely and efficiently in line with industry best practices.
